Construction Ops is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY] ("we", "us"). These terms apply to you and to the company you bought on behalf of ("you"). Buying, downloading, or signing in to the portal means you accept them.
A purchase buys two different things, and they have different lifespans.
Your tier decides which bundles you are entitled to. Your update window length is shown on your licence panel in the portal.
Licences are issued with a download allowance of one copy per bundle. Download links are single-use and expire fifteen minutes after they are issued; an unused link that expires does not count against you, but an unspent live link is counted while it is live, so requesting several links and spending them later does not get past the limit.
The allowance is per bundle, not per bundle and platform. If you download a bundle for one runtime and later need the same bundle for another, email us and we will reissue. We would rather do that than have you blocked.
We can lift the limit on an account at our discretion — for enterprise customers, pilots, or anyone with a genuine operational reason. Ask.
You may use everything you download for your own business, on as many of your own devices as you like, for as long as you like. You may adapt the skills to your workflow, and you should — that is what they are for.
You may not resell, sublicense, publish, or redistribute the bundles or their contents, in whole or in part, to anyone outside your business. You may not use them to build a competing product for sale.
Every bundle carries a copy ID identifying the account that downloaded it. It exists for one reason: if a copy turns up somewhere it should not be, we can tell whose it was. It does not phone home, it does not track you, and it does not affect how anything runs. Removing or obscuring it is a breach of these terms.
These are drafting and analysis tools, not professional advice. They produce bids, letters, schedules, billing packages, and go/no-go recommendations. They are not a lawyer, an accountant, a licensed engineer, or a safety officer, and nothing they produce has been reviewed by one.
You are responsible for reviewing everything before it leaves your office. That matters most for anything with money or a signature attached: bids and proposals, contract review, lien and notice deadlines, progress billing and payment applications, certified payroll, safety documentation, and any government contracting submission. Deadlines and compliance obligations remain yours. The skills work from what you give them, so an output built on stale or incomplete context will be confidently wrong.
The skills run inside a third-party AI assistant that we do not control and that can make mistakes. Treat every output as a first draft by a capable assistant who has never been to your jobsite.
Sign-in is by email address, handled by Clerk. Your licence is tied to the address you bought with — buying with one address and signing in with another is the most common reason someone cannot see their bundles. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
We may suspend or revoke an account that redistributes bundles, abuses the download system, or charges back a completed purchase. If we revoke your account you lose access to the portal and to future releases. What you already downloaded keeps working, as section 2 says.
Onboarding is what trains the skills on your business, and it is what makes them worth having. Where onboarding is included in your purchase, it is booked from your welcome email.
Support is provided by email. [SUPPORT BOUNDARY — the amount of support included with a purchase is still being set; state it here before launch.] Additional sessions and custom skill development are available separately.
Because the product is delivered as an immediate download, we do not offer refunds once a bundle has been downloaded. If something is wrong, tell us before you download and we will sort it out. If a bundle is materially broken and we cannot fix it, we will refund it.
We aim to keep the portal available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The portal is a delivery mechanism, not a runtime: if it is down, everything you have already downloaded carries on working. We are not liable for losses arising from portal downtime.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the product is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for lost profits, lost bids, lost contracts, or other indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms. If we make a material change we will tell you by email at the address on your account. Changes do not retroactively affect the permanent licence described in section 2 — what you bought stays bought.
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction.
Email support@thesosteam.com. If you need a signed data processing agreement for a public-sector client, ask — that is a normal request in this industry and we would rather have it on file.
